A Private Zen Dialogue Experience at Kezoin
Immerse yourself in a rare and meaningful encounter that invites reflection beyond sightseeing.
“Ask a Monk” is a private Zen dialogue experience held at the private residence of the chief monk of one of Nikko’s most revered temples.
After a short period of guided meditation to calm the mind, guests are invited to engage in an open and respectful conversation with the monk.
This intimate dialogue allows you to ask questions about life, stress, purpose, relationships, impermanence, and modern living — topics that resonate deeply across cultures.
This experience is not a lecture, but a personal exchange rooted in Zen philosophy. Whether you are seeking clarity, calm, or a deeper cultural understanding of Buddhism in Japan, this session offers a quiet space to listen, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.
